The level and differences of selected movement abilities in youth football players U11 age category
Mastný, Vojtěch ; Malý, Tomáš (advisor) ; Carboch, Jan (referee)
Title: Level and difference of selected movement abilities in youth football players U11 age category Objectives: The aim of this work is to find out level and difference of specific movement abilities, movement skills and motoric docility of young football players category U11. Methods: Research group, which consisted 23 players category U11 of football FC Tempo Praha club, completed one-time testing. This testing contained in total 5 testing batteries including seven tests altogether. Those tests evaluated batteries of motor docility (IOWA-BRACE test), 3 tests of physical abilities (reaction time, 5m and 10m acceleration, vertical jump) and modified Illinois test evaluating agility speed and motoric skills level, which was added to this test. Results: Not only that results differences across individuals, but also across both groups of various performance levels. The most significant average result differences are in tests of acceleration, where 5m flying test difference is 0,16s and 10m test difference is 0,21s. Other differential is in reaction time test, where difference is 0,15s and in Illinois agility- skill test, where difference in performance with ball is 1,55s. Lower performance level group displayed smaller difference in other tests, whereas the group reached better results in motor...
Level and degree of association of selected abilties, motor skills in football players category U6
Varjan, Matej ; Malý, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kokštejn, Jakub (referee)
Title: Level and degree of association of selected motor abilities, motor skills in football players category U6. Objectives: The aim of the research is to identify the level of the selected motor abilities, motor skills and motor docility and to determine the degree of association between these performance components in football players category U6. Methods: The research group (n = 52; age = 6.1 ± 0.3 years) consisted of football players of SK Slavia Praha Youth Academy. The participants completed one-time test battery which consisted of motor docility tests (IOWA- BRACE test), five tests of the motor abilities (5m and 10m linear running acceleration, 5m flying maximum speed, standing long jump, 4x10m shuttle run) and two tests of the specific football skills (4x10m shuttle run with a ball, slalom skills test). The degree of association was determined via Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: The part with the results provides information on the level of the players' motor abilities, motor skills based on the values obtained through performed tests. The statistically significant degree of association was found between all tests across the entire test battery except for one pair (long jump from place x shuttle run with a ball). Materially significant, medium to very strong correlation r =...
Parameters of Motor Learning in Group of Healthy Young Women aged 18-35 Years
Macelová, Veronika ; Kotková, Karla (advisor) ; Šebková, Natálie (referee)
BACHELOR THESIS ABSTRACT Author: Veronika Macelová Supervisor: MUDr. Karla Kotková Title of bachelor thesis: Parameters of motor learning in group of healthy young women aged 18-35 years Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of motor learning. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes basic informations about motor learning. It deals with its phases, types, factors that affect it and cognitive functions. Furthermore, there are mentioned physiotherapeutic methods that work on the principle of motor learning. There are also chapters about movement skills, virtual reality and the Homebalance system. The practical part is of a research type and focuses on data collection and their analysis. The study was performed on 15 respondents - healthy young women. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe the course of motor learning, which took on stabilometric platform Nintendo Wii Balance Board wirth the use of interactive Homebalance system. All respondents underwent the program of motor learning once a week for the duration of 10 weeks. Probands. In the practical part, the results of individual tasks are evaluated and compared. The total time of all tasks is statistically evaluated by Student's t-test. The established hypothesis that the total time of...
Verification of the MS GEM tennis school program's effect on the development of motor skills in 10 to 12-year-old tennis players
Schröffel, Jan ; Přibyl, Ivan (advisor) ; Kainová, Lucie (referee)
My diploma thesis focuses on the introduction of the MS GEM tennis school and its new training program, on its effect on the development of motor skills in 10 to 12-year-old tennis players compared to effect of other traditional programs. The first chapter belongs to characterization of training process in general, motor skills and means of their development and to the description of differences between different age group's training process. The rest of the theoretical part is introducing the MS GEM tennis school's new training program. There i apply my mind to the content of our training lessons and why we think that our training program is more suitable and beneficial than traditional training programs which usually take place on the court only (or partly end up using a tennis trainer). Our training lessons are always split into two parts - in the first one our players train tennis-related motor skills and abilities. The other part of the lesson is always more versatility-related one. The experiment that i conducted took 9 weeks to finish. Six participants were split into two groups (there were boys at the age of 10, 11 and 12 in both groups) and trained for 9 weeks, once a week, in different manner. I created a set of 8 exercises which were designed to test our participant's motor skills. My...
Athletic Skils of Youth athletes
Štvánová, Anna ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Kaplan, Aleš (referee)
Title: Junger junior's Athletic skills Objectives: To describe the athletic skills of secondary sports school pupils (non athletes) and to compare them with the athletic skills of children who are members of an athletic club. There will be evaluation tables created to measure the given skills. Another aim is to measure and compare general performance test results of both groups. Comparasion will be done against the general population and each other Methods: Observational cross-sectional study, observation, descriptive analysis, video recording, scaling, comparison Results: Secondary school pupils did not achieve similar results in general performance tests. The smallest differences in motor tests were recorded in the long jump, in other tests were bigger differences. In hurdlets, pupils differ from athletes, as I expected. The assumption that the best children in general performance tests would be the best in motor tests did not confirm completely. For pupils, this assumption was clearer, with athletes the best performers in motor tests didn't have the best results. Key words: Junger junior's, motor skills, performance, motor tests, older school age
Physical activities for preschool children to develope their dexterity
HLASOVÁ, Zuzana
This bachelor thesis offers teachers inspiration how to perform physical games with preschool children. The work consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part discusses the characteristic changes that occur in the preschool age. It describes changes in physiological and psychological development and discusses in detail motor development of preschool children. The next chapter deals with physical activities, principles of loading and physical limitations of preschool children. The last chapter of the theoretical part focuses on motor skills especially on physical dexterity. Research section presents the results of the questionnaires, which were filled by parents of preschool children. A block of physical games leading to children dexterity development is drafted in the practical part. Games are divided into units based on the using equipments, games with balls, parachute, coloured rugs, games without equipment. Each game is outlined by a description, motivation and a specified output. Additional notes from practise can help how to give a special attention by each game.
